Our craft

This is not a printed photo, and it is not a machine pattern. It is a portrait rebuilt twice by hand.

Machine embroidery — the structure

A digitised artwork is stitched into the wool: outline, eyes, the shape of the muzzle, the main blocks of colour. Embroidery gives the portrait a clean edge and a base that holds its shape through winter.

Needle-felting — the life

An artisan then works thousands of needle strokes into the wool, blending fur colours, lifting the texture and shaping the expression until it reads as your pet. This part cannot be done by machine.

Every piece is different

Hand-felting means no two portraits are identical. Yours will be close to your preview — but the fur will always have its own small variations. That is the signature of handwork, not a defect.

Wool that holds warmth

Our hats and scarves are made from wool knit chosen for softness against the skin and warmth in real cold — the kind of winter morning when you're out with your dog before the sun is up.

Made to be worn

The portrait is felted into a single layer of fabric, so it moves with the hat. We recommend gentle hand-washing and air-drying, and we offer repairs if the felt ever lifts.

Recent pieces, made for real pets

Every portrait below started as a phone photo sent by its owner. The colours, the fur direction, the little half-smile — none of it is copied from a pattern. That is what makes each one different.
