How it works
Every piece is made for one person, from one photo. Here is the full journey, from your camera roll to your front door.
1. Choose your piece and upload one photo
Pick a hat, send us one clear photo of your pet's face, and tell us the features that matter most — the ears, the eyes, that one crooked marking.
2. We review the photo and design your portrait
If a photo won't translate well into wool, we'll ask for another one before we start. Then we build a design made for stitching, not a copy of the photo.
3. You approve the artwork
We send you a preview showing the outline, the main colours, and where the portrait will sit on your hat. Nothing is made until you say yes.
4. Embroidery, then hand-felting
The portrait is machine-embroidered for a clean, stable base, then finished by hand with needle-felted wool to build the fur, shading and expression.
5. Quality check, then it ships
We photograph the finished piece, check placement and durability, and send it out. Production takes 2–3 weeks after your approval.
Why it takes two crafts
Machine embroidery gives the portrait its structure: outline, eyes, the shape of the muzzle, the main blocks of colour. It gives a clean edge and a base that holds its shape through winter.
Hand needle-felting gives it life. An artisan works thousands of needle strokes into the wool, blending fur colours, lifting the texture and shaping the expression until it reads as your pet. This part cannot be done by machine.
